Interpret these lyrics?

Well. Two people had sex while drunk, and one of them regrets it and regrets leaving, but not to the point that they won't leave, so they merely hope "that there is no God... who would forgive" them. That way, they don't have to feel bad about it, because they'll be forced to make up for it later. Presumably by burning in Hell.
