Whos a Superstition believer, Are they true or false ?

Im a bit confused if I believe in superstition or not, everyone probably heard of different things to do if spill salt don't walk under ladder ect, what about magpies ? I've had same magpie following me now for over a week, an it's beginning to freak me out s bit, it sits on my fence in back garden just looking, if I go out front door it's there, I even went to shops an it was there, it's quiet weird as it looks like a old magpie, I probably sound weird saying this but it reminds me of a old lady for some reason, Is it true 1 magpie brings sorrow, danger ? Or is it all superstition, ?
