I think I have hyperthyroidism?

i just had a test done two days ago to check my thyroid. the doctor asked me about bowel movements, i explained, that i am either constipated, watery or cant stop going. i also have been have weird periods. i get it one day and its gone the next then a week later i will get it again, and its so heavy and my cramps are awful! my hair is very dry, unmanageable. i gained 20 lbs. i was also dx with bipolar disorder in 2008 so i am not sure what is related to that and my thyroid. your post has helped me a lot, i didnt know about the hair or the confusion and being clumsy, muscle and twitching i always blamed that on my meds. so thank you for posting. i hope the few symptoms i gave you and the questions the doctor asked might help you as well. as far as the baby, i would check with the doctor, i didnt know if you had a thyroid condition that would affect your baby. maybe the issue with the baby is completely separate. i would check with the ped doc as well to make sure. i wish you the best.
